Laparoscopic surgery issues

So, 2 days ago I had my last pre hysterectomy consultation and I have the surgery scheduled for mid June, however the doctor says I will have to either dilate the V on my own or they won't be able to do laparoscopic and they'll have to do abdominal instead, which they said has more chance for complications and harder recovery and of course a much bigger scar.

For a bit more context, I am a complete virgin in that hole, never had anything in there, since I was a kid I was absolutely disgusted by that part of my body and never wanted to have anything to do with it, to this day it is still the part of me I have the most dysphoria about, since I started testosterone my dysphoria actually lowered slightly, which is why I was actually able to let them try to do an ultrasound they needed, but it was still the first time in probably over 10 years someone else saw me without underwear(I'm 19, I never had a gynecological exam before), anyways they didn't succeed, they had to do an abdominal ultrasound instead, they also tried to go in with just a finger and it didn't fit either.

Due to the fact that with Laparoscopic hysterectomy the uterus and stuff needs to be taken out through the V hole, they need space for that and so without me dilating it, that wouldn't be possible.

I don't really know what to do tbh, I really don't want to make it so I have higher chances for complications, especially since I am planning on doing phallo and I would prefer to limit the amount of stress my body needs to go through, I also don't really wanna deal with that big of a scar there, but I also know that trying to dilate it enough will not be good for my mental health, which is already not the greatest rn and the extra stress of that would probably do really bad stuff to me.

Is it even possible that I dilate it enough in time? The doctor said they need at least 2 fingers space.

I do think that I will at least try to do it, I think long-term the pros much outweigh the cons, and that in the end it will be worth it, as I know having a very visible scar that big will give me dysphoria and it's gonna be there until I'm able to cover it with a tattoo, which is gonna take a while. But I just wanna know if y'all think that it is actually possible to achieve that in time? Cause tbh I don't really know much about all of that and I am pretty worried about that.

Also, has anyone else gone through something similar? It would kinda help to know that I'm not totally alone in this haha

Anyone from Austria got phallo over insurance out of the country?

Basically what the title says. I need someone who knows more about the process to kinda walk me through it.

So, about a year ago when I first started T, I told my endocrinologist that I am planning on getting phalloplasty, she said that since there's no one doing phallo in Austria at the moment, I would need a letter from her that I am unable to get it done in the country and then my insurance should cover it as long as I get it done in the EU, I am now looking into clinics to do it, I am considering 2 in Germany at the moment so they are both in the EU, I am having a hysterectomy in a bit over a month and top surgery in a year and since I know the waiting time is gonna be long, I want to start the process and get on a waiting list as soon as possible, but I'm not really sure how exactly to proceed with it. So here I have some questions...

My insurance is the standard public insurance btw, ÖGK.

From what I understand I'm gonna have to pay for the initial consultation at any clinic I go to, right?

What exactly will and won't the insurance pay? Will it cover all the stages including colpectomy, metoidioplasty(I want to get it first and then get a burial as I've heard that it can help with the future phallo UL) and implants? Will they cover or at least partially cover the hair removal? Will they also cover any complications if they happen? Also will they cover the hospital stay?

Also yeah, how do I exactly proceed with getting approved for it? What I'm thinking is that I first need to get a consultation and then get a letter from the doctor along with the regular psychological examinations and the letter from the endocrinologist and hand it over to the insurance, is that it? Also do I need to already have all the psychological letters for the consultation at a clinic? Cause they usually last for a year and the insurance letter also tends to last for a year, so I'm not sure if I'll make it in time.

Also another thing, do I need to get a separate approval for every stage?

That's all I can think of at the moment, I'll make an edit if something else comes to mind.

Feel free to DM me if you don't want to answer here btw.
