Appetite Regulation on Carnivore

I’ve dabbled with carnivore on and off before and had some good results, but I’ve never really stuck to it long enough to fully see what would happen.

Last week I started again and did 5 days straight of strict carnivore, eating 3 meals a day. I already had a pre-planned day out, so I intentionally went off carnivore for the day and planned to go straight back after.

What shocked me was how regulated my appetite felt. Usually when I “cheat” or eat carbs/sugar again, it completely spirals and it’s extremely hard for me to get back on track. But this time was completely different.

I was half-eating things, leaving food behind, and even chocolate that I normally LOVE just tasted… bad? Like overly sweet and kind of unpleasant. I genuinely didn’t even want to finish it.

The biggest difference this time is that I’ve been eating 3 proper meals a day. Previously when I tried carnivore, I was fasting as well, and I honestly think that made a huge difference because I’ve never experienced appetite regulation like this before.

Usually going off plan for a day would turn into days or weeks for me, but this time I went straight back to strict carnivore afterwards with no drama.

So now I’m going to try doing 21 days strict and see what happens.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of appetite regulation on carnivore, especially when eating regularly instead of fasting?
