Hi! My girlfriend and I are looking to stay for ~3 nights in the Amazon (Tambopata/Puerto Maldonado).

Looking for lodge recommendations in the mid-range budget. A few questions:

1. What lodge did you stay at and would you recommend it?
2. Is 3 nights enough or should we do 4? Our timeline is flexible rn
3. Ideally a clean spot as she won't do well with a ton of bugs in the room

We're flying in from Cusco arriving late August. Main priorities are wildlife, good food, and not having to think too hard after the trek 😅
