Hello everyone, I just came into possession of 1,350 sq ft of this unfinished Honduran Mahogany hardwood floor. It’s 5” wide, 3/4” thick, and at random lengths. It’s clear select grade and of genuine origin. It was purchased for a renovation about 15 years ago which never happened. It’s been sitting in a garage all these years and now it’s time to make some magic.
I am seeking the advice of professionals who have worked with or have insight on this specific wood.
I am seeking helpful information how to give this floor the best possible finish. I want to make the natural color and grain pop.
Any product recommendations or methods to best preserve its beauty is appreciated.
Thanks for any input in advance!
