I’m wondering why we think Paula decided to address the ‘incident’ this way:
It seems like commander Weston likes a challenge, he still wants you enjoys a stubborn spirit, it’s no fun breaking in a horse that’s already docile.
She could have just threatened her, but I think it was far more frightening to validate at the same time.
Keen to know your thoughts as it has stuck with me!
ETA: also bit funny about the commander that was economics being boring! Commander Lawrence was hardly that!
