Charge back - non-refundable hotel credit

Something came up and I had to remove one night of my stay at a resort two weeks before the reservation.

Unbeknownst to me, they had already charged my card and I paid in full about a month prior. When I removed the night, they told me I have a hotel credit for the night I removed, but will not be refunded.

This credit is basically useless to me because it’s an all inclusive and I’m there for a wedding, so there’s not much extra I’ll be paying for.

I’ve gone all Karen on them over email hoping they’d just get annoyed having to deal with me and issue a refund, but that hasn’t happened.

They have not been able to provide me an agreement with my signature on it stating I acknowledge any amount paid is non-refundable. The hotels site does not have any info available either.

Is this a decent case for a charge back? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
