Any solutions for sticky acrylic paint?
Hey! I’m relatively new to using polymer clay, but so far my preferred method has been to paint white clay with acrylic paint (rather than buy a bunch of already coloured clay). The issue is that, no matter what paint I use, it ends up slightly sticky and my pieces get totally covered in dust that is hard to remove. I‘ve tried so many types of acrylic paints, some I have found to be pretty good otherwise, but everything ends up just slightly sticky! I never see anyone else having this issue, but does anyone know how to solve it? I was looking into varnishes, but people say those go sticky too. As well as that, people seem to insist you don‘t have to seal acrylic paint on polymer clay. Is there something I might be doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated!
