I was kinda off, the lyric I was trying to remember was "my conscience could burn a hole through my brain" and "i wanna prove that I'm a total waste of time"
I've searched this sub and typed the lyrics into so many different engines.
I was listening to a Panuccis Pizza station on tidal and this song came up.
It started with some aggressive kinda rolling bass and the only lyrics I can remember is the bridge right before the chorus and this one bit in a verse
Bridge: "A hole in my brain/head" x2
Verse: "I want to be a waste of your time"
It might not be exact but its been driving me crazy all night at work
At first I thought it was Joyce Manor but I've been scrubbing their discography for like 40 minutes
Its got heavy distortion almost 90s skater punk but the vocals arent fried.
