Questioning what the right move for me is
Some backstory-
My mother had a horrible time getting pregnant and had suspected Endo was horrible pain for years. She successfully delivered two babies and lost three along the way.
From the time I got my first period they were horrible. Trips to the emergency room where I was told I had endometriosis. Trips to the gynecologist to be put on Lupron shots. And birth control for years following.
About three years ago, I got off birth control, thinking I wanted to cleanse my body before me and my husband started trying to conceive. I think in hindsight, I gave it time to flourish.
A year and a half ago I saw an excision specialist and had a consultation for surgery. I decided I wanted to give my body a chance to try to conceive naturally. We’ve tried for a year now with no luck and I’m living in horrible agony.
I guess the crooks of my problem is I’m turning 30 years old this year and worry about wasting time or money. Do I try to follow the typical gyno route? Do I fork over $10,000 to see a surgeon specialist? Do I give myself another year of trying?
My husband is all for the surgery however I don’t necessarily want surgery, but my pain is telling me that’s the right answer looking for any available insight
Thank you all in advance
