Finding wood studs behind stucco siding!

I'm about to go help someone try to find their wood studs behind their stucco siding.

They want to install a swinging chair into the ceiling of their patio, which has a stucco ceiling. He is willing to do the work but isn't confident that he will find the studs to screw into.

From doing years of mold remediation and dry rot repair, I know that stucco is basically concrete with chicken wire through it.

How is my stud finder supposed to find wood behind concrete and metal?

I have read some using a neodymium magnet to find the nails at the studs.

but won't the Neodymium magnets just find the chicken wire?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Replace Olympus XA4 Film cover with an XA2 cover?

I have been shooting with an XA2. dimensions are perfect for my pockets.

I wanted to take pictures closer to objects so I bought an XA4 macro (the wider lens is a bonus too!)

The only downsides I would be taking on would be the DX code reader (I don't want it) and the extra 1/4" width of the camera caused by dating function module (which I don't want either).

Both of these are a part of the door assembly itself.

If I could get rid of the date function, get rid of the DX coding function, and slim down the camera, it seems to me like this would make the XA4 the perfect P&S camera.

Any thoughts?

My understanding (from a brief Internet search) is the door of an XA1, XA2, or an XA3 will fit perfectly onto an XA4.
