Hey everyone,
I’m in my first semester of a Bachelor of Medical Science in Aus and honestly starting to feel a bit unsure. I’ve been seeing a lot of posts saying it’s a “useless” degree, and it’s making me question whether I’ve made the right choice.
I originally enrolled because I’m really interested in becoming a sonographer (especially cardiac sonography), and I was hoping this degree would be a good pathway into a master’s program. But now I’m not even sure how to get there, or if this is actually the right track.
For anyone who’s been in a similar position or knows more about this path:
Is Medical Science a good stepping stone for sonography?
How did you get into a sonography/cardiac sonography program?
Are there other careers I should be considering with this degree?
Would it be smarter to transfer into something else now before I invest more time and money?
I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Feeling a bit lost at the moment.
Thanks in advance :)
