What seemed to be quite doable turned out to to be a lot more difficult. My main goal would be to transfer camera snapshots from one remote Home Assistant to another. When it comes to entities these two servers are connected via the Custom Integration Remote Home Assistant (https://github.com/custom-components/remote\_homeassistant) but that does not include the transfer of pictures. So I was thinking maybe to upload these pictures to some cloud service and then download them on the other side - but Nextcloud, Google Drive, OneDrive Integrations all seem to just support Backups.
I want to avoid buying expensive new router hardware and invest a lot of time in a completely new network setup to achieve this with some fancy VPN.
Any ideas?
