"Actually spiders aren't bugs" WRONG

All small land arthropods are bugs because bug isn't a scientific term, it's a colloquial one that describes bugs. The flu and pneumonia are both caused by germs, despite bacteria and viruses being literally bit related at all. But noooo, spiders aren't bugs you IDIOT. You fucking CRETIN. I'm smarter than people who don't know this fact I learned in fucking kindergarten hah hah. Nope. Bug originated as a term before people even knew what an arachnid was. It was applied to insects later on. If only we had a word to receive the difference between bugs and spider OH YEAH INSECTS AND ARACHNIDS, ACTUAL SCIENTIFIC TERMS. If you want to be even more pedantic then you can get into "true bugs" but that was applied later on after the original distinction and doesn't matter in daily terminology.

Insects are bugs. Arachnids are bugs. Isopods are bugs too and they're fucking crustaceans. Screw you it was weirdly satisfying to write this
