Life is Transactional

I will give an example, When people make small talk the first thing that comes up usually is "What do you do?" This is basically a social reputation and positioning gauge. Most adult relationships are often shallow and transactional.

Coming up from a broke poor homeless NEET

To a financially free hikikomori

The sooner you accept the fact Life is transactional, the happier you will be as the vast majority of people are always about "I want, I want, I want" they never think farther than their own needs and what they could offer or what the other person wants.

I've experienced this first hand, how I've been treated when I was in a weak position with nothing going for me and then when I was in a strong position.
