Looking for tent recommendations for month long stay in the Mongolian wilderness.

I will be spending about a month in the Mongolian wilderness for a project this summer, and am in the process of picking a tent. Unfortunately, there seem to be no legitimate review sites left due to the sponsorship model most sites fund themselves with. My car camping set up is far too bulky (Gazelle T3), and my backpacking tent is too lightweight for this particular use case (Durston X-mid 2).

The tent will be packed in checked baggage for the flight out. Then we will be taking vans on the three day trek to the northwest or the country camping on the roadside along the way. Once on site, there will be a permanent base camp where the tent will be pitched and left for the duration of the project.

Lots of rain is expected, so a full rain fly, sealed seams, etc. are necessary. It will also need to be at least a two person tent to have space for storage of gear. While packability is important for the flight out, weight is not necessarily a large concern because I will not be hiking with it for more than a mile or two. Durability is more important than weight. I would also prefer a freestanding design as it is unclear what the soil condition will be at the site (Stakes/rocks will still certainly be used, but I don't want them to be the only thing holding the tent up during a storm when away from camp in the field). I will be using this tent in the future for similar projects, so I am ready to make a reasonable investment.

If anyone has some good recommendations to consider, I would appreciate it. Bonus question, if anyone has good recs for solar panels to keep power banks topped up for flashlights and camera batteries, that would be appreciated as well.
