Hi all - I’ve been rated at 30% for chronic sinusitis and 0% for allergic rhinitis for several years. After a spell of ear infections over the winter my VA PCP sent me for a CT scan. Nasal polyps present along with other abnormalities. I submitted for a rhinitis increase due to the polyps.
This CT scan justified my PCP sending me to an ENT. ENT diagnosed me with OSA and confirmed others issues.
Over the years, doing this myself, I have submitted and have been denied for sleep apnea, CFS, severe snoring syndrome. I resubmitted for sleep apnea yesterday due to the current diagnosis. Checked to see if the claim made it to the app and sleep apnea isn’t listed. CFS and severe snoring syndrome are. Anyone have any advice or knowledge of why sleep apnea is not listed?
