When will Codex hit 5M users?
It's now been MORE than 3 weeks since they hit 4M. 3M->4M was less than 2 weeks.
Deceleration, regression, or slowdown?

I, with a $10 credit, asked for one simple change, which it seemed to extrapolate out into making a shit ton of mistakes, auto-staging the changes (ruining my old staged changes), and then finishing the credit -- nothing completed, just workspace trashed for $10.
With GPT-5.5, I've never seen it act this stupid, not in Cursor, not in Codex. I mean, I've never had GPT 5.5 erase/replace all my work (by staging) with something completely wrong, until Zed.
Obviously, I will never use this again but I am somewhat curious as to why it's like that?
I get $10 a month free as a student, but this literally set me back a day, so I struggle to find a way to be grateful. Or am I missing something?
Codex did it right in under 10% of my 5h usage, and less than 3% of weekly usage, for reference.
