Toured a potential NYC apartment today and came across these stairs (photo attached). They look pretty sketchy to me but maybe I'm overthinking it since I'm new to the city. The landlord said they're totally fine and up to code but honestly they seem kinda steep and narrow. Anyone else dealt with stairs like this in their building? Is this just normal NYC apartment life or should I be concerned about safety. The rent is decent for the area so I don't want to pass it up if these are actually fine
