I am aware that it is common practice for managers of little league teams to get two manager picks for all stars. How do other leagues get away from coaches applying for the manager position solely to guarantee their kid a spot on the team? Our league has incredible talent and half of that talent doesn’t get picked for all stars because of a small circle of coaches that apply for the wrong reasons and make deals with each other to recruit each other’s kids.
