I'm going to do an elective at Mount Sinai which requires a Letter of Eligibility From NY State Department of Education Office of the Professions. I have six weeks prior to the deadline to submit all the documentation for the elective and I'm concerned about the processing time for this as it may be 6+ weeks.

I submitted the application as soon as I got the acceptance letter, so I couldn't have done it any sooner.

Anyone who has experience with an NY elective/Mount Sinai know whether there's any room for accommodation?
