So, I was fortunate enough to convert IIM Indore and will probably convert to Kozhikode too in the next list. My problem is everyone in my family is pushing me for indore bcoz it's closer to Delhi(hometown). I know that Kozhikode is def a better choice but I kind of understand their point too. Flight tickets are expensive and we are not financially at the stage where churning out ~10k for a one-way flight is feasible every time. The train is 42hr so that makes no sense. I just want to know whether there are people who miss out on opportunities like this just coz of location or am I a fool for even considering it? Be blunt, be rude idc, just need solid advice

My mom and I are visiting Nainital next weekend. I am looking for a hotel near mall road but the options online look a bit dicey. Can I get some suggestions for hotels/homestays under 3k per night? Also want to know if it's better to book a hotel directly after reaching Nainital?
