The first one was the original, supposed to be a something akin to an ultra-paladin. They are servants of a powerful god known as The Lion, Lamb, and Dove, which I tried to incorporate. I think it came out really well and the double halo looks cool imo.
The second one is the one specifically made for the genre swap contest. I figured most people would be doing sci-fi variants of their fantasy originals. I wanted to do something a little different by genre-swapping it to something a bit more near future. I tried to go for a more grounded approach while keeping the same pose so I wound up giving him a jetpack since I couldn't get a rifle pose to work. Kept the flaming sword though since flaming swords are rad as fuck. Also went with a more "wolf-like" look with the cape and helm as a bit of a twist.
