Hello, I have a 5 year old star aviar which I use for throwing. It's beat into the perfect stability and feels great in the hand. It's almost perfectly neutral. In low wind I can throw it 250 feet on a rope almost no turn, and very little fade.

I wanted to buy a backup to start beating in so I bought another star aviar. But it feels very different in the hand, it feels very domey and I don't love it. It's more stable, but not too bad and I know it will beat in eventually. I'm wondering if there's an suggestions (preferably innova) for what throwing putter to get as a backup? Should I maybe try a different plastic aviar? Maybe order an R-pro? Or get g-star?

Should I just wait for the new one to beat in? Will the dome decrease as it beats?

I also throw the aviarx3 as an over-stable approach disc at about the same distance and it feels perfect to me. Would I like the invader? Does the Aviar3 beat in to straight? ect...

(I like Innova for the factory second deals)
