I just finished my 1st year a few days ago and I’m currently pursuing a BBA general with a minor in data science at GITAM University, Hyderabad.
trying to land my first internship, preferably in business analytics or business development, but not entirely sure how competitive my profile is right now or what I should focus on improving.
My current skills:
- SQL
- Python
- Excel
- Planning to learn Power BI ASAP
I also have some experience with tech stuff like web application building and very basic android development, but I’m not sure how relevant that is for analytics/development roles.
One thing that might stand out is that I run my own small design studio called 66pixels (66pixels.com), where I worked with clients and handled projects. Not sure how much that helps for internships in this field though.
Any advice on how to actually get my first internship? What skills I should prioritize next? Whether I should focus more on projects, certifications, or networking? Any tips on positioning my experience better?
