This is interesting! I didn’t think DCA would be getting another regional crew base in addition to PSA. Is Republic going to be phased out of DCA for American, maybe? Or is it to thin out PSA’s presence so they can expand elsewhere (ORD, perhaps 🤔)? Either way, hopefully it’ll mean more E175s going around here on the east coast!

Another A321XLR is coming over from storage in Europe (I heard they were awaiting seat installation after coming off assembly at airbus, but I’m not sure). This will be the 3rd operational A321XLR, assuming it enters service soon.

This will be the plane that operates the first flight to Venezuela tomorrow!

I know a lot of people are going to scoff at this with the storms that have rolled through DFW the past few days, but I am curious is the frequent DFW travelers who can see past that are noticing improvements since the beginning of April as well. This sub seems less crazy when storms roll through, at least. :p

New app updates:

- Updated trip details page with more options

- Customers (I assume this is applicable to non-status holders only) can now buy priority privileges, equivalent of Group 4/AAdvantage Gold at check-in. This will give them access to priority check-in and security as well.

- For group reservations, you can now change plans or split reservations for only one person or part of the group and a new confirmation code will be provided with the original reservation staying the same for those remaining.
