Coros is great….

My COROS Pace 3 suddenly died just after warranty expired…

My COROS Pace 3 had been genuinely great for almost 2 years. No issues at all, battery life was excellent, controls worked perfectly, and I recommended it to several people.

Then around 4 weeks after the warranty expired, things started failing one by one.

First the battery suddenly dropped off massively and now barely lasts a day.

Then the touchscreen started acting up.

And now the dial/button can’t even rotate anymore, which makes navigating the watch extremely frustrating.

What’s frustrating is how sudden it all was. The watch went from working perfectly to having multiple hardware issues within a very short period of time, right after warranty coverage ended.

I contacted support, but there doesn’t really seem to be any repair/recovery option available. The solution offered was basically a 20% discount on a new product, which honestly feels a bit disappointing considering the timing and the fact that the watch otherwise seemed completely fine until recently.

What also makes me wonder is that after searching around a bit, I can clearly see I’m not the first person posting about similar issues with the Pace 3. That honestly makes me question whether this could be some broader hardware defect or software-related issue that COROS simply doesn’t want to take responsibility for once devices are out of warranty…
