Hi yall, I'm a student applying for housing in the incoming year. My parents will be supporting my rent (and others in the party will have their parents paying their rent too) as co-signers/guarantors. I know that it's good to have a guarantor agreement filled out in advance so that the landlord just has to check and sign it themselves, so I looked for templates to use. is this one alright/would you accept it so long as it was filled out with the tenant and a parent's info properly?
AFAIK it has all the legal jargon needed to confirm that our parents will be just as responsible as us for rent and damage to the property. just wanted to double check!
Of course, it'll be in addition to our parents' proofs of income (pay stubs and tax returns) and their drivers' licenses. Thanks in advance for any answers!
