hey guys, my first ever post on reddit!! (excuse my english lol). two nights ago i finished watching the mentalist for the first time ever and i’m soo devastated, i got so attached to the characters and the storyline, idk what i’m gonna do with my life now haha. i don’t really know how to put it into words but i just loove this warm cozy vibe that those series from the late 00s have. i don’t want to overanalyze it too much since it was my first watch - when i rewatch it i’ll definitely notice a lot more details. there were definitely a few loose ends but i loved it nonetheless. it was totally worth it, i love that it had a happy ending unlike so many other shows!! also i’m surprised that it even got better with every season, especially the end of season 5, then the red john episodes at the beginning of season 6 🤌🏼🤌🏼chef’s kiss. and then the fbi storyline, i didn’t expect to like it even more than the cbi cases. anyways, i would love to hear some other opinions and recommendations on what to watch next!! :))
p.s. needless to say, Simon Baker is just phenomenal and has unmatched charisma
