Hi,
I am about to buy a 2020 Ford Escape S which has about 60K miles on it. I drove the car and it worked perfectly fine in all scenarios, except when I did some hard / strong acceleration, I realized the shifts are not that great and it gives slight jerks.
Reading this sub, I have seen mixed reviews, some stating it as expected ford 8 AMT behavior whereas others are saying it is a sign of transmission beginning to fail? So, what is it?
Just for additional context, I did not feel any issues when the car was climbing a slope, doing reverse or even when changing modes from P->D and back, am I looking too much into this? My first car buy so a bit cautious!
