My son and I were in a very large antique store in Colorado exploring the uranium glass collections. The store has many different antiques and is probably the size of a super Walmart. After being there for 30 mins my son put his Geiger counter up to his face/hands exposed skin and the levels were higher than when we went in. Same for myself. They stayed higher until we went home and he washed his hands. Anyone have an idea why this would happen? Radon gas?
