Using top 30 visits to get a draft and trade edge
In what's usually a quiet time for dynasty with everyone waiting on the draft, a potential edge that exists is reading the tea leaves on what prospects teams are bringing in for top 30 visits. Kyle Borgnoni and the Fantasy Footballers have done some work in recent years on using them as a predictive metric for what capital a team may use to target a certain position, which they'll be covering in the next couple of weeks as visits finalise.
It is a single information point and teams sometime use them as a means of conducting medicals and sending smoke signals, so don't go overboard. It may, however, be useful to help inform some trade for/trade away candidates.
The full list of visits can be found here (https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-draft-top-30-visits-tracker-2026/), but I've covered some of the major takeaways below.
AZ: extensive visit list which includes Love & Simpson but lots of DT/OT
ATL: extensive visit list which includes 4x WR (Coleman Jr, Cameron, Hurst, Allen) - potential WR2 but 4th option behind Bijan/London/Pitts
BAL: short visit list but have brought in 2x WR including Concepcion
BUF: short visit list but have brought in both WRs Concepcion and Chris Bell for visits
CAR: longgggg visit list with a clear focus on TE - Wright, Delp, Joly and have been linked to Sadiq. They've also brough in Concepcion (busy man), Burks and Cooper which will have the Cokeheads sweating.
CHI: clear defensive focus as expected, however have brought in Stribling (WR) and McGowan (RB) who are popular sleepers
CIN: lots of defense, a couple of projected late RBs (Black, Ott) which aligns with their visits last year (met with Judkins and Henderson from memory). Not listed but I think I saw they were meeting with Love too?
CLE: 8 (!!!) WR visits with high projected capital (Boston, Bernard, Bell, Cooper, Lemon, Tate, Tyson, Concepcion) which aligns with expectation they take a receiver with one of their 2x first round picks. They have also looked at Sadiq and Delp for those with Fannin Jr stocks.
DAL: lots of defense but a few interesting offensive pieces including Stowers, Bell and Cooper
DEN: plenty of looks at RB (Coleman, Black), TE (Stowers, Klare, Joly, Boerkircher) and WR (Cooper, Concepcion - cancelled)
DET: defense and more defense
GB: might be looking at a RB2 with Washington and Bankston brought in, WR Hurst might be a thorn in the 'consolidated GB WR room'
HOU: lots of OT/DT but have looked at a few RBs (Randall, Black) and TEs (Royer, Kitselman)
IND: Hurst and Bell in for WR visits which could limit Downs opportunities in 2WR sets
JAX: none - Rams don't do any and Gladstone carrying that torch
KC: clear focus on high projected WR (Lemon, Tate, Hurst), Delp and Joly would be interesting TE picks too
LV: 7 (!!!) WRs including Boston, Bernard, Concepcion, Bell, Hurst and Smith. Kaelon Black also in for another visit.
LAC: lots of defense but Delp (TE), Concepcion (WR) and Ott (RB) all with visits
LAR: short list but Lemon and Stowers are both on it
MIA: lots of receiver as expected (Concepcion, Lemon, Hudson, Hurst, Allen, Boston), have interestingly also hosted 3x QBs (Simpson, Beck, Green). Joly (TE) and Black (RB) in for a visit too.
MIN: RB a focus in a desirable landing spot with Coleman and Clairborne in for visits, Mason and Delp in for TE visits as well as Hurst for a WR visit
NE: WR (Stribling, Concepcion, Allen) and TE (Delp)
NO: short list but includes 4x WR (Bell, Tate, Hurst, Lemon) to add to the smoke of a WR at 8
NYG: lots of WR (Pena, Hurst, Concepcion, Lemon and Tate) and Love in for visits
NYJ: short list but multiple WR (Allen, Bell, Pena), they did also conduct a private workout with Simpson, Beck and Allar
PHI: WR (Pena, Cooper, Bell, Douglas)
PIT: WR (Bernard, Boston, Caldwell, Law) and QB (Payton, Beck, Green)
SF: lots of WR (Cooper, Boston, Hudson, Concepcion, Douglas)
SEA: lots of RB (Coleman, Washington, Bennett, Trayanum)
TB: having a good look at TE (Joly, Royer, Klare, Villari and Delp), Stribling and Allen brought in for WR visits
TEN: lots of WR (Lemon, Concepcion, Tate), plenty of TE for the Helm holders (Joly, Stowers) and Love in for an RB visit
WAS: high end WR visits (Lemon and Tate)
