I started teaching myself AutoCAD yesterday. I had an idea to try to redesign this intersection in my city. To start, I wanted to trace the existing infrastructure. This is the result! I know it's far from perfect. I couldn't find many tutorials on street design specifically, so I've been Googling a lot. I imported Geolocation and traced over what was there the best I could. I had to constantly bounce between Google Earth, Google Maps and my city's GIS to try and get accurate accounts. It's not 100% accurate but it's pretty close. I'm pretty proud of what I was able to accomplish in a day. I'm going to resume watching general AutoCAD tutorials online.
If anyone has any advice, tips or criticism it is welcome! I didn't know what to flair this as. I'm mostly proud of myself, but could also use guidance.
