Hi all, looking for some advice on claiming back unused tax credits in Ireland.

My wife stopped working in June 2022. At the time, we were assessed separately, and Revenue didn’t adjust my tax credits. I recently contacted them, and they updated things from April this year, transferring her credits to mine as a lone salaried earner, but I haven’t gotten a clear answer on how to claim the credits I missed out on from June 2022 up to now.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there a way to claim those unused credits retrospectively for the previous years? Or am I out of luck for that period?

Any guidance on the process (or who to contact) would be really appreciated. Thanks!
