MY IPAD / COMPUTER WERE STOLLEN
Hey guys,
I need some advice. My car was broken into today and the culprits stole my iPad, computer and wallet. I was at Verve coffee in downtown LA off Mateo Street when this happened, and when I came out. It was all gone. It was in a basic Trader Joe’s tote bag. It’s really a bummer because I had some really sentimental stuff in there as well, including my recently passed mom’s drivers license as well as her old purse she got handmade in Italy years and years ago. I tracked the tech to this corner in Downtown like 7 minutes away from the coffee shop.
I already filed a police report and I’m meeting with a detective tomorrow. But is there anything else you guys would recommend I do to try and get these items back. I tried hanging around that corner where I tracked the stuff to for a little bit to see if I could find anything, but nothing came about. I have a good feeling whoever did this is living in this apartment
I asked the tech store on the corner if they had seen or received anything that day and they said they hadn’t. I left them with my number Incase someone does try to come in and flip those items. But other than that, I don’t know what else to do.
Reddit family, anything you could recommend or help me with would be incredibly appreciated. The tech is replaceable, it did have all my work on it, but my mom’s stuff is really what I want back.
