I’ve been using a Thinborne case on my Samsung Z Flip 7 for around 10 months, so I can share a proper long-term view.
First, disclosure: I bought the case myself and have genuinely used it daily. Thinborne recently emailed me offering an inventive if I shared an honest Reddit review with photos. They did not ask me to write a positive review, but I think it’s right to mention the incentive clearly.
My honest view is that the case has been excellent. What stands out most is the material. It uses 600D aramid fibre rather than the usual plastic, silicone, TPU, or fake carbon fibre style cases you often see on Amazon. That is probably why it feels so different. It is thin, rigid, light, slightly textured, and premium-feeling without adding much bulk.
That matters to me especially on a flip phone. With the Flip 7, a bulky case can really change the whole experience of opening, closing and pocketing the phone. This case keeps the phone feeling slim and foldable, rather than turning it into a chunky brick.
After around 10 months, the fit is still good and it has served me really well. It gives the phone a bit more grip and day to day protection while preserving the feel of the device. I would not describe it as a rugged case or something I’d buy for heavy drop protection. To me, it is more of a premium everyday case for scratches, grip, minor bumps and keeping the phone slim. You can see from my photos that my phone isn't new, but the case still looks great.
It is definitely more expensive than the imitation-style cases online, but in my experience it feels like a proper product rather than a cheap copy. For anyone with a Z Flip who wants something ultra-thin and premium, I’d personally recommend it.
