Hi all! I’m looking for some book recs. I really enjoy stream of consciousness writing, southern gothic, somewhat mundane storytelling with lots of food for thought. I’ve enjoyed horror, easy read romances and more.

I recently finished The Passenger (1) by Cormac McCarthy, loved it, and then learned he liked a young woman a little too much and it spoiled him for me. So no pedophiles or (irl) boundary-pusher authors please! I don’t want to support that.
