RamaRaya and other brother in law of Emperor Achyuta Raya were called immoral and evil by Nuniz, According to book "Studies in the History of the Third Dynasty of Vijayanagara" Rama Raya had installed all his friends and family relatives in the court of Vijayanagara, when King saluva Acyuta Raya was away from Capital. Replacing all loyal and expirenced nobility who had served Empire selflessly with a bunch of people who were his adherent.
Along with that he had placed all of his loyalist warlords near the capital, where they held Palya and acted as Amaranayakas or Palegars.
RamaRaya had even attempted a coup d'feat and took Achyuta as a prisoner, however it had failed miserably as reamining nobility of Court strongly opposed Rama Raya.
