Metro Man is wildly downplayed. In Megamind he tanks the Death Ray, which is stated to run on solar energy. The Sun outputs 3.8 × 10²⁶ J/s (~91 billion megatons of TNT per second) which is stronger than a viltrumite can even hit or survive and seeing as the sun killed thragg and the force of it did nothing to Metro Man the STR/Dur feat is here. Even if the beam is a tiny fraction of that, it still massively eclipses real-world events like the Chicxulub impact (~10²³ J) or the Tunguska event (~10¹⁷ J). And Metro Man just smiles through it.

Even while retired, he tunnels i think ~2,900 km to Earth’s core in under a minute (~50 km/s), which lands in the 10¹⁸ J (exaton) range which is already above Tunguska and done casually with no damage or effort.

Speed is where he’s actually broken. He experiences hours in less than a second (~86,400× perception), reads books, reflects, plans, and executes a fake death mid-event. Then he literally flies across the city and back before a light-based beam lands, meaning FTL reaction and movement.

Strength-wise, he scales above Titan, who with just a fragment of his DNA was tossing around skyscraper-level masses (millions of tons). That implies Metro Man is comfortably in the hundreds of millions to billions of tons range.

Add in stamina (functioning at super-speed for extended periods with no fatigue) and a full power set (heat vision, flight, super breath, x-ray/telescope vision), and he’s not just strong but he’s a complete toolkit so Temu +1 superman

ALSO

Kinetic energy is E = ½mv². So as speed increases, energy skyrockets and if Metro Man is moving at even a fraction of light speed, his hits jump into the 10²⁰–10²³ joule range, which is extinction-level force. Thragg isn't winning
