Bought a lifted ecodiesel Rubicon on 37s, maybe a year ago. Love it, handles the tires with no complaints. Plenty of torque. Feels quick, nimble, etc. To my knowledge it's still got the stock 4:10 gears.

I don't rock crawl. I do use the Jeep in the cow pasture and mud and sand. Lots of five minute commutes around town, interstate a couple times per year.

Lots of warnings about 40s and all the updates needed to handle them. Steering, brakes, axles, gearing. Is the concern legit? Are they really that much more intense than 37s?

Thanks.
