We were just offered 6.375 on a refi in southern CA, with my husband and I both having 775 credit and making $265k combined a year. 540k left on the loan and home value at 677k.
Is this as high as it seems? It’s hard to distinguish with all the talk on this forum of rates in the 5’s. Our current rate is 7.114 from 2023.
We haven’t shopped as this lender has historically given us the lowest rates and we’ll likely be able to proceed without an appraisal (our house has some internal demo going on that wouldn’t look the best).
Thoughts?
