So I've been quietly working on something for the past while and launched it this week.
The idea came from a pretty simple frustration: almost every financial resource I found assumed you were already past the hard part. Like, "invest in index funds" is solid advice - but it doesn't help much when you're not totally sure where your money's going, or when checking your balance genuinely makes you anxious.
I wanted to build something for that stage. The messy middle before the investing. Where money feels blurry and avoidance is just easier.
What I ended up with is a free platform with a budgeting dashboard, a net worth snapshot tool, a retire-debt map, some calculators, and a bunch of learn modules on things like debt, spending habits, and budgeting - all written without the shame spiral that most finance content has.
No ads, no paid tier, no upsells. Just tools.
I launched yesterday so I'm sitting at zero users right now, which is humbling. If anyone wants to check it out and tell me what's missing or confusing, I'd genuinely appreciate it. Happy to share the link in the comments if that's okay with the mods.
