The risks of mail-in voting tend to be downplayed by legacy media. But, these risks include: both fraud on one side and the risk that voters will neglect to send their ballots, send them too late, or have them rejected. In this session, we look at the risks of mail-in voting and how to monitor & observe it in your state.

There are 3 more weeks of this round of election observation training 5/12, 5/19 & 5/26. Each Tuesday at 4pm PT/ 7pm ET is on protecting a different aspect of the election. Come to any or all of them.

Protecting elections starts long before #Election Day.

SMART Elections is working to complete major projects & we're connecting w/ volunteer project managers to bring them to the public. One project is a detailed accounting of over 200 bomb threats during the 2024 Election. There are about 1/2 a dozen important projects in our pipeline. Data management & even some stats background, helpful but not necessary. Checking in, organization, decent people skills and moving the project along are the main ask.
