Thinkpad X230i weird issues

Found a really good deal on a thinkpad x230i (something like 20€), but apparently there's a fan issue and the seller says that this issue with the screen shows up during boot sometimes (not all the time), what could be the cause?
Just want to make sure it doesn't die on me after i purchase it lol
