DIY CNC Desk Lamp with WLED on Esp32
I recently discovered WLED and immediatly wanted to do a project with it, since i have a few esp32's laying around. So i designed this desk lamp in a futuristic street lamp style.
The lamp base is made from a solid block of hornbeam finished with hard wax oil.
The lamp head as well as the 2 buttons are made from aluminum, which i etched in a strong sodium hydroxide solution and cleaned up with sulfuric acid.
Power comes from a USB-C cable and the whole thing can be controlled with the two buttons or in the browser via WIFI
All the parts were milled on my diy cnc (except the pipe)
