I recently evolved my Sylveon (lv 22) and specifically for its Pixilate ability that, to my understanding, should boost Normal type moves and even make them Fairy. However, I've seen no damage increase (for example with Quick Attack) against pokemon that take X1 damage from both types. Am I understanding it wrong? Or do I have to be a certain lv to use pokemon abilities?
