I just signed up for InteractiveBrokers last week and transferred an initial 10k into my account. Only to find that my address was flagged as a commercial address (I live on a sailboat and the marina address is indeed commercial) and now in long wait for a human being to check/respond. So now have cash sitting -- I don't need it now, but being in a nether world isn't very reassuring.
Otherwise I've been investing via Schwab and Fidelity (work related). Old school, but they get on a call at the drop of a hat. Should I take this as my introduction to bad service and bail now?
