Okay I know this has probably been asked but I’m still a bit confused due to people using different model e30’s, but Will a early model 325i transmission (like a 1988 or a 1987) fit a late model e30 (1989+) ? Asking because I’m trying to source a part out car that I can just rip out the transmission, pedal box, driveshaft, and if it has a LSD that too.

Genuine question, if the AC compressor went bad meaning it locked up, would you still get warm air blowing in, also to know if the AC compressor went bad, you just have to see if the spuck is stuck right? Like doesn’t spin freely (with no belt on ofc)? Asking because I’m trying to tackle one by one the the AC system gremlins so that I don’t keep boiling every time I drive my E30.
