New martial arts website for finding gyms, coaches, students, and places to train while travelling.
Hi everyone!
We’re a small team of martial artists, and we’ve just soft-launched a new martial arts platform called Fighter Den.
The idea behind Fighter Den is simple: create one place where martial artists can discover gyms, find coaches or students for private lessons, and share posts about training, events, techniques, competitions, travel, and martial arts in general.
One of the main features is our martial arts gym catalogue and map. You can search for gyms around the world, filter by martial art, and also filter by things like whether a gym is drop-in friendly, offers free trials, has weights, has showers, runs beginner classes, and more. We wanted this to be especially useful for people travelling, moving to a new city, or just trying to find somewhere new to train.
Users can also optionally list themselves as private lesson coaches or students, so other people can find and message them directly.
Gym owners can create accounts for their gyms, add details like prices, timetables, facilities, photos, posts, and training information, and appear in our gym map and search pages. Regular users can also add martial arts gyms to the catalogue if they notice one is missing.
All core features are free to use. We do have an optional premium account for people and gym accounts, which currently boosts visibility in our discovery and search results. Over time, we’re planning to add more benefits such as stronger placement on upcoming explore pages, profile engagement insights, and eventually tools for gym management. But the main goal right now is simply to build a useful martial arts discovery platform.
The site is live now at fighterden.com. We’re planning a bigger advertised launch later this year, but for now we’re focused on growing the catalogue and getting feedback from the martial arts community.
Because we’ve only just soft-launched, the catalogue is still very early. It would genuinely help us a lot if you could take the time to look around, create an account, list yourself if you offer or want private lessons, and add any martial arts gyms you know about so the map becomes genuinely useful for everyone.
We’d also really appreciate any feedback, suggestions, criticism, or feature ideas. We’re building this for martial artists, so hearing from people who actually train is the most valuable thing for us.
Thanks!
