Hi all. I got my pair of cockatoo cichlids almost 1 month ago. The female looked like it wants to mate but the male chases her away from every single hole there is in the tank. It was like this when I first got them, then it slowed down a bit. The male wont even be bothered by the 20 or so common guppies but when it is the female it goes nuts.
