I dunno what it is about my game, but whenever I go to Nordhagen beach I get another ghoul request.
"These ghouls are bothering us, go kill them."
*checks map* location is halfway across the Commonwealth.
I'll get around to it. I am so done. I am going to free myself of Radio Freedom and go do something interesting.
I was poking around Croup manor looking for a bucket to to collect ghoul bits in when I was jump scared by a Mirelurk Queen. I screamed like a little girl, but fortunately I had Grognak's Axe handy and killed it with one hit.
Not gonna lie, I was hoping for Wagner, but somehow this was just as fitting.
Suspended from above and supported from below the Twisted Stairs in an architectural fever dream cobbled together from weathered wood and salvaged iron. Providing access to an otherwise isolated section of the overpass and a safe haven for the settlers of Finch Farm- if they can navigate it.
So the scaffolding works. But then I had the mad idea of making a stairway that twists around the supporting pillar. It is unfinished right now because I have run out of wood and forgot to set a supply line. As an aside I am thinking of sending Jake off for that. The boy needs to get out there and experience life on the road I think.
Anyway. To finish it off I think I might look like part of stairway is suspended from the underside. Either with some countersunk posts or some wires. Unless anyone has some other ideas for supports I am just not thinking of? I'll post another video of the completed stairs later. Right now I have a date with Preston at Nordhagen Beach.
I was going to use wooden stairs but decided I wasn't that dumb brave.
What began as mirelurk infested dump is starting to look like a functional settlement fort. I've plugged up the holes and got everything powered up. Life is looking alright in this bastion.
